Job Description
What you will be working at:
- Manage IT and consulting projects, ensuring productive collaboration among all involved parties
- Plan project activities, deadlines, and deliverables; monitor progress
- Lead the development and project team (2-10 people), clearly structuring and assigning tasks, and promoting timely task completion
- Develop, maintain, and update project documentation, development, and sprint plans
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and blockers; find solutions or escalate as necessary
- Organize retrospectives, promote transparent communication, and support continuous team development
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and colleagues to ensure project progress and successful outcomes
Qualifications
What is needed for this role:
- Higher education
- Certification in IT project management (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or similar)
- At least 3 years of experience in IT project management and client management
- Experience leading a development team (at least 2 to 10 people)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practice implementation (Scrum, etc.)
- Proficiency in project and issue tracking tools, such as Jira
- Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent Latvian and good English language skills
- Effective communication skills, sense of responsibility, and self-initiative
- Experience working with the public sector will be considered an advantage
- Experience with SaaS or B2B products and/or programming knowledge is an additional advantage
